Thali Dhaba is a new restaurant startup in Maroochydore that serves authentic Indian/Pakistani Thali meals. Thali is a full meal served on a platter and includes a selection of various dishes. Dhaba is a roadside restaurant that serves local cuisine and is typically found next to petrol stations.

We developed a fun, exciting, playful, and bold brand identity for Thali Dhaba. We were given creative freedom to develop Thali Dhaba's identity, so we created bright and colourful patterns and shapes that represent all the different components of a Thali meal. We combined traditional-style food with a modern setting to create a unique experience for our customers.

To capture the feeling of satisfaction after eating a Thali meal, we created a happy/food blissed-out emoticon with the tagline "Feeling Satisfied." Our goal was to create a brand identity that would appeal to a wide range of customers and make Thali Dhaba a popular destination for Indian/Pakistani cuisine on the Sunshine Coast.
